Thoughts of Thanksgiving

I can't wait until Thanksgiving!! Turkey, stuffing, pumpkin pie... Mmmmmm.
I also love Thanksgiving because I love fall! The colors of the leaves... and the colors of the papers!!
Oranges, browns and earth tones... Love, love, love it!!
One of my favorite CTMH papers was "Olivia". The colors and the patterns are so beautiful.
So when I decided to make some paper pumpkins, Olivia was the obvious choice!
I also needed to cut some ovals... Hmmmm... what could cut perfect ovals fast and easy???
The Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge!!
So here is my version of Paper Pumpkins....

The larger pumpkin was made with (9) ovals. AP cricut cartridge "oval #3" @ 4".

The small pumpkin was made with (9) ovals. AP cricut cartridge "oval #3" @ 3".

Both pumpkins are distressed with Desert Sand ink and the stem is stamped with a "tree" stamp and just cut down in the shape of a stem. The vines are made with sweet leaf card stock cut at 1/8" and wrapped around my scoring stylus.

  1. Your pumpkins are adorable! I think I may have to try my hand at making a few of these! Just became a follower - found you through our CTMH msg boards blog post. Hope you'll follow me too!

  2. They are super easy :) Thanks for following me, I am now following your blog too! You do great work!!
