A New Book.... A New Cricut Bundle!!

So with the release of a NEW Annual Inspirations Book comes the release of a New Cricut Bundle!
The new cricut is called YOU ARE HERE and is a travel themed cartridge.
 This is always one of the most exciting products for me.
This year at Convention, Jennifer Smith, who is a CTMH Consultant from Drayton Valley did a presentation using the new cartridge and it was AMAZING!!

Flower Market - Chapter 3

Today's "Flower Market" layout is not flowery at all. When I was making my first layout with the sunflowers, I also put some little white flowers on it. As I was making it, I thought, "these look a lot like popcorn".... And so we have today's layout "MOVIE NIGHT".

I told you in Chapter 1 that this is my favorite cricut cartridge CTMH has released so far, and it's not just the flowers I love, it is also the sentiments included and especially the font!! I love the font I have used on this layout!

Flower Market - Chapter 2

Another day, another "Flower Market" layout! This one is a flowery spring theme. I love how simple (yet detailed) this one turned out. I know the picture looks like it is on white cardstock but it is actually on a pin striped B&T paper.

Flower Market - Chapter 1

CTMH has released a NEW Cricut cartridge... FLOWER MARKET!! And I LOVE it!! This is (and I'm not just saying this) my favorite cartridge EVER!!
When I first heard the name, Flower Market, I didn't think I would love it as much as I do. I thought... Flowers, really?!?!
Yes, flowers really!! This is such a great cartridge!! Once I started working with it, I fell in love!

Barn Board Swap Cards

Tomorrow is the big day!! I leave for the CTMH Convention in Disneyland!
I can't wait to see all the new products coming out and the best part... see the CTMH consultants I have become friends with over the years again :)

So I made some card swap cards. I did a barn board layout for a workshop not long ago, and loved the technique so much, I decided to use it on my cards. The barn boards are made with cardstock, cocoa re inker and a toothbrush.

Lollydoodle Gift Bags

This months card club was a little different.
1. There were no stamps involved and 2. It wasn't just cards.
This months card club "project" was gift bags with coordinating 3x3 cards.

We used the Lollydoodle paper pack, the Lollydoodle stickease and paper lunch bags.
 So this is what we ended up with...

Summer Layouts

With summer coming (I hope) I wanted to do some layouts for those fun summer activities, BBQ's, Camping and random outdoor activities!
So here are my 3 layouts for my upcoming Summer Layout Workshop, all made with the wonderful paper "Timberline"

I also used the Timberline Compliments for 2 of the layouts and extra cardstock on the BBQ layout to paper piece those cute little cheeseburgers!

October Cre8tive Club

So I haven't done a Cre8tive Club in a long time! But in October I will be starting them again!

Book Mark Cards

WOW... I have really been slacking lately when it comes to updating my blog!!
I am REALLY going to try to step it up from now on... Starting today :)

So for today's post, I am going back to January's card club where we created Book Mark Cards.
I love these cards! I saw them on the internet quite awhile ago (not to sure where) but thought they were so cute because once you are done with the card, you still have a cute little book mark.

We used Pemberley paper for this card and various stamp sets.

My Mini Album Purse

So a few months ago I was entering a contest and needed to come up with an idea for a 3D project. I decided to make a mini album but shape it as a purse.
The products I used were:

- Pemberly Paper Pack
- Pewter mini medley collection
- 6x6 flip flaps (I used 6 flip flaps, 3 on each side)
- Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge (to make the handle)
- Mocha Opaque Gems

And this is what I came up with...

Christmas presents for 3 very special ladies.

So while I was at convention in Disneyland this past summer, I met 3 special ladies, who I have kept in touch with and am going to convention with in Dallas this coming summer. We decided to have our own little gift exchange this Christmas, using CTMH products (obviously)... Well since it is now Christmas, I think it`s safe to post pictures of what I sent out.

Each lady received a decorated ``Friend`` box with a matching card portfolio set (with 5 matching cards).

Cricut gift bag

So I decided, after yesterdays post, to do another post that shows off the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge.
I have, in the past, shown a card made from the AP cartridge, so I thought today I would show off the 3D functions.
This little gift bag, the spiky flower and the tag are all cut from the AP cartridge.

Thoughts of Thanksgiving

I can't wait until Thanksgiving!! Turkey, stuffing, pumpkin pie... Mmmmmm.
I also love Thanksgiving because I love fall! The colors of the leaves... and the colors of the papers!!
Oranges, browns and earth tones... Love, love, love it!!
One of my favorite CTMH papers was "Olivia". The colors and the patterns are so beautiful.
So when I decided to make some paper pumpkins, Olivia was the obvious choice!
I also needed to cut some ovals... Hmmmm... what could cut perfect ovals fast and easy???
The Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge!!
So here is my version of Paper Pumpkins....

The larger pumpkin was made with (9) ovals. AP cricut cartridge "oval #3" @ 4".

The small pumpkin was made with (9) ovals. AP cricut cartridge "oval #3" @ 3".

Both pumpkins are distressed with Desert Sand ink and the stem is stamped with a "tree" stamp and just cut down in the shape of a stem. The vines are made with sweet leaf card stock cut at 1/8" and wrapped around my scoring stylus.

Paper Back Pack

So with back to school coming up in a couple days, I thought I would share a little back pack I made a couple months ago. I love this little back pack! I don't remember where (or who) I got the pattern from but if you are out there, you know who you are (even if I don't) and THANK YOU!
I used velcro on the flaps and ribbon for the straps... Enjoy!
