Sweet Sunday Card Sketch Winner
So I have been doing a weekly sketch challenge on Sundays which is appropriately called "Sweet Sunday Sketch", and every week she randomly picks a winning card to highlight and this week I was the Sweet Sunday Sketch Winner.
So this is good for my blog and I was pretty excited to see this. So thank you to Karen Giron for doing this great weekly card sketch challenge!
Now I guess I should go do this weeks card challenge!

Football Thank You Card
So I have an Uncle who has seasons tickets to The Edmonton Eskimos. a couple weeks ago my Aunt and Uncle were in town. They stayed with us for the weekend and my Uncle and Husband went to a football game.
Now they are gone away on a vacation so they mailed my husband their tickets for an upcoming game, so today I thought I would make them a "football" thank you card.
I bought this stamp set from CTMH a couple years ago to make a birthday card and really thought I would probably never use it again... but today that stamp set was pulled out once again!
So here is my card, in the Eskimo's green and gold colors....
Enjoy!

Wicked Halloween
So on Monday, at my card club, I had a little bonus project.
It was a Halloween treat card. Tucked into the card was a little bag of Halloween chocolates.
Some of the cards got made as planned, some got made but the candy didn't get included in the card and some got made and then broken into... These ladies crack me up!!
This is such an easy little treat!! The stamp set used is the past SOTM "Wicked"

Mojo Monday (212)
OK... I made my goal last week of doing my Mojo Monday on Monday, but it's a new week and this week I had my card club (so that is my excuse for this week).
I had alot of fun with this sketch! I dug out some of my retired stamps that I love but just don't seem to use enough and a CTMH die cut card, which just adds so much to a card!
So here is the sketch....

"Overview" Card
So tonight was my monthly card club.
The card pattern we used was "Overview" from the book Originals (page 102), the technique was "base and shades" and the stamp set was the stamp set that comes with the Wonderland Workshop On The Go.
So here are some of the cards from my card club...
Enjoy!

Card Patterns weekly sketch #138
So this weeks card pattern I found a little challenging. I'm not sure if I'm just not feeling creative today or if my blogtoberfest goal to blog every day this month is leaving me short of words and original cards!?!?
Do you ever find that no matter how different the sketch, somehow your cards still look the same?
Anyway, it gave me a chance to crack open my new pink CTMH ribbon bundle, which is so cute!! I used the crochet type ribbon, so I guess now I will have to order more :)

Cricut gift bag
So I decided, after yesterdays post, to do another post that shows off the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge.
I have, in the past, shown a card made from the AP cartridge, so I thought today I would show off the 3D functions.
This little gift bag, the spiky flower and the tag are all cut from the AP cartridge.
Enjoy!

Generation Stamping
So today's card is more about technique than design. The technique used is "1st, 2nd and 3rd generation" stamping.
This is a technique most everyone knows and most everyone uses but I thought I would show today because it is such a great technique!
This Thank you card has all 3 (1st, 2nd & 3rd) generations of stamping and I love the way it turned out.
Card Patterns weekly sketch #137
OK... so I am an hour late on my "blog everyday this month" blogtoberfest goal! I had a 12 hour crop today/tonight so I just couldn't do it... but I will do 2 today to make up for it.

Painting with Bleach
So today's post is more of a technique than a design. Today is about painting with bleach.
This is such an easy technique and I love love love the look of this.
So here is how this is done:
1. On white cardstock, sponge ink all over.
2. Stamp image with versa mark and emboss.
3. With small paint brush and liquid bleach (not cream) paint the area you want to remove the color from.
Ta da.....
Enjoy!

So today I was looking around my dashboard and found my "stats"... this is totally amazing!! For those of you who have blogs, have you ever looked to see were in the world the people looking at your blog are from?
I'm guessing a lot of these people have found my blog by "accident", but it is still cool to think people from all over the world are visiting your blog!
Here is a run down of how many people from which countries have visited my blog in the last 2 months:

Mojo Monday (210)
So yes, I am a little behind on my Mojo Monday card again. My goal next week is to have Mojo Monday on Monday.
Yesterday I found out one of my friends, who is due in January, is expecting a baby girl.
Although this is not a card for her, it put me in a "baby girl" mood.

Thanksgiving Card
Happy Thanksgiving! I love Thanksgiving. Not because of the turkey or pumpkin pie, but because it really makes me think of everything I am so thankful for. I know I should do this every day, but sometimes life gets busy and I take things for granted. I also love the time with my family, and not just my husband and kids, because I have special time with them a lot, but other members of my family that mean so much to me.
So, because I have family staying with me this weekend, I am a little behind on creating, but because it is blogtoberfest and my goal is to post on my blog everyday this month, I am posting a CTMH video, "Thanksgiving Card"...
Enjoy!

Happy Spooky Halloween
My card today was inspired by Jeanette Lynton. The technique is from her book Wishes Card Confidence Program and it is called "stamping with textures" on page 57.
I also "borrowed" the whole Halloween theme from her because this technique just screams Halloween!

I love my Spray Pen!
So today's card was made with my Spray Pen. I love my spray pen!!
I used re-inker with water and a few drops of the Create-a-shade Pearl Paint.
When I'm using my spray pen, I spray everything. The outside, the flower,
... And the inside! Nothing gets away from my spray pen!

Here's To You
So today's card is one of those last minute cards. We have a birthday party to go to tomorrow for a little boy and I really don't have a lot of "boy" cards on hand. I find it challenging to make boy cards. Girl cards are just so much easier. Anyway, here is what I came up with....
I used the Caboodle paper and the stamp sets are "Splendid Day" and "Over the Rainbow"
Enjoy!

Super Mac
So I'm not sure if you know this or not, but I am the mother of a Super Hero!
He watches superhero movies and TV shows, he reads super hero books, he wears super hero shirts almost everyday and every toy, backpack and Halloween costume is some kind of superhero.
So a couple weeks ago, while browsing some of my favorite blogs, I came across a Superhero Cape on Daisy's Garden. Not only does she make Superhero capes, she customizes them for you!!!
So here are a few pictures of my Super little guy in his new cape...
