Cross Canada Blog Hop - My Creations Canvas Journal

Welcome to the October Cross Canada Blog Hop! This month our project was the "My Creations Canvas Journal".
This product can be found on page 132 of the Current Idea Book, and is ONLY $8.95.

In this hop, you will see how our Crafty Canadian Consultants have decorated their Canvas Journals! We hope you enjoy our blog hop today!

If you have just hopped onto my blog, you can start here! If you came from Tara's Blog, then you are in the right place!

So here is what I did with my Journal.

The paper used on this project was Moonlight (x7161b). I also decorated it with the Black Tulle Ribbon (z1798), Sparkles Black Flourishes (z1745), Glamour Glitter Alphabet (z1775) and the Slate Mini-Medley Accents (z1786)

Your next stop on the Cross Canada Hop is at Kathy's blog

Thanks for hopping along with us - we hope we were able to inspire you to create your own version of My Creations Canvas Journal. Join me for another blog hop on November 5th when we showcase a series of 3 Christmas Cards.

Here is a complete list of the blog hop in case you get lost along the way:

Baroque Borders Cards

I love busy, fun cards... you know, the ones with embellishments, paper piecing, stitching and lots of stamping, but once in while, a simple card is enough.
When I first saw the stamp set "Baroque Borders" I knew this was the perfect stamp set that could shine on a simple card, so for this months card club, we used this stamp set with coordinating felts and ink and here is what we created...

Clearly The Best!!

I have raved for years about how CTMH has the VERY best stamps out there! In fact... I dare you to find me a company that makes more versatile stamp sets.
So today I am posting a video from CTMH showing different ways to use the stamp sets, and this is just one example of how great they are!

Avonlea Display Tray

This weeks project is the Avonlea Display Tray.
I was inspired by, and let's be honest, pretty much copied Lisa Stenz (@ Lisa's Creative Corner). When I saw her display board, I knew I had to make one!!

So here is my Avonlea Display Tray

I love this project so much I will be having a workshop on Wed. Oct. 3rd (deadline for registration is Sept 14th) so let me know if you are interested in joining me for this workshop.

Enjoy!

Avonlea Jars

Today's project... Jars!

I bought these jars at the dollar store and then used the Avonlea paper, Burlap ribbon and, of course, the Cricut Artiste cartridge to decorate them.

The stamp sets used...
One of the coordinating stamp sets from the Cricut Artiste Collection and "It's Your Day" stamp set, which is the limited edition stamp set created for National Stamping Month.

So here are my jars...

And here is the "It's Your Day" stamp set which is available from Aug. 15 - Sept. 30 for only $5.00 with a minimum order of $35.00.
This stamp set actually contains 2 D sized stamp sets which includes 50 images and is valued at $35.90.

Convention Swap Cards

Well it's been almost 1 month since convention, but I have been so preoccupied with the NEW CTMH products, I have not really had time to post about my convention swap cards.
I made 5 different cards all using Florentine paper and here they are...

Cricut projects

So this week I hosted my Idea Book Release Party and before the party I made some Cricut "projects" to show off the new Cricut Artiste Collection and the huge emphasis it has on 3D projects and the "one key themes".
So here are a couple of the projects I did....

The first one is the "Space Party":

The invites

Everything on this table is made with 1 key

Love the cupcake holders:

Party hats

The second project I did was "Movie Night":

Again, this is all from 1 key (I love the mustaches)

 Cute little popcorn containers

Candy & Cupcakes
